It’s been another busy week in the transfer window and with question marks around where Aubameyang will be next season, I’m sure things are going to continue to heat up. At the beginning of the week it was PSG, then conspiracies over his trip to LA, the question is, will Aubameyang still be at Dortmund next season?

Wolfsburg have seen two players part with the club in the last few days, both being defenders. Jannes Horn has moved to FC Köln, whilst arguably one of their best defenders, Ricardo Rodríguez has moved to AC Milan for a fee believed to be around £15m.

Augsburg, who last week had signed no one, this week announced two new signings. Fabian Giefer from Schalke and Rani Khedira who last week was released by RB Leipzig.

Gladbach have signed 20 year old Denis Zakaria from Young Boys on a 5 year deal. The highly thought of youngster could slot straight into the foals team and provide real engine power.

Borussia Dortmund seem to be planning for life without Aubameyang and if he does stay at BVB next season, well, the squad will have only got stronger. The club announced the signing of Maximilian Philipp from Freiburg midweek and I believe he could be a brilliant signing for them. I am a huge fan of Philipp and am extremely excited to see him develop at Dortmund.

RB Leipzig continue their transfer policy of signing under the radar young players to suit their system. In comes young midfielder Ibrahima Konate from French side Sochaux. The club clearly see big things for him as he has signed a 5 year deal at the Red Bull Arena.

Tony Pulis once said, “Serge Gnabry isn’t good enough to play for West Brom.” Well Tony, he’s only gone and just signed for the biggest club in Germnay. Bayern Munich decided to invest in the 21 year old. Now cast your minds back to last year, when Gnabry left Arsenal it was confirmed to be at Bayern, only for him to be announced at Werder Bremen moments later. Was it part of the deal that Bayern could buy him back if he had a good season, or is it all just paper talk? Either way he is now part of the Bayern squad, so does this mean that Douglas Costa is on his way out?

In other news, Martin Weinzierl has been relieved of his duties at Schalke, to be replaced by Domenico Tedesco. Not a big surprise that Weinzierl has gone but I can only admit I didn’t see Tedesco coming in. Leverkusen have also appointed a new boss, former player Heiko Herrlich. Let’s hope both new managers can have a better season than last year, as both clubs massively underachieved.

Dortmund found their man to replace Tuchel, up step Peter Bosz. Bosz arrives following a successful time at Dutch giants Ajax and helping them reach the Europa League final. He seems a good fit at BVB and without doubt will be a hit with the fans. Let’s hope he can hit the ground running and push for a real title challenge this coming season. That’s what the Dortmund fans want.

The biggest or shall I say the most interesting news this week was from Hertha Berlin. With the Worlds most expensive free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the hunt for a new club, Hertha tweeted this:
